Carve Your Story

Experience the artistry and rich history of pounamu carving through our immersive workshops. Each session begins with a traditional Maori mihi (greeting) and karakia (prayer). Led by our local expert carver, Timoti Moran, you'll journey to the sacred streams of Te Tau Ihu to collect your own pounamu stone. Along the way, Timoti will introduce you to the spiritual significance of the awa (river) and share captivating tales of the region, as well as personal anecdotes from his own life's journey in carving.
