Connings Food Market is a family-owned grocery store near Richmond and Nelson, growing much of its own fresh produce right on the family farm. Plus a full range of grocery essentials and a café serving up the best of the season.
Connings has everything you could possibly need, from fresh produce and meat to dry groceries and alcohol. Connings Kitchen also offers a delicious range of takeaway café food and coffee.
As a family of market gardeners, Connings harvests from their land across the Waimea plains of Nelson. The farm was originally started by Robbie and Cheryl Conning over 40 years ago.
In 2019, the family decided to create an outlet to provide their community with a farm-to-table experience, focusing on fresh produce. They grow as much of their own fruit and vegetables as possible and source locally when needed.
Connings is proud to showcase their own produce while supporting as many local businesses as possible, both big and small.
