Race two of a fun, three-event, cross-country series for runners and walkers. Events are Saturdays - 29 March, 5 April & 12 April - all at Moturoa / Rabbit Island, and each with a different challenge.

Meet at the Totara Picnic Area. Registration is from 1.45pm, race briefing 2.20pm, race start 2.30pm.

Adult & High School runners: 5k (3 laps)
Walkers: 3.4k (2 laps)
Intermediate/Primary/Kindy Runners: Choice of 1 lap (1.7k) or 2 or 3 laps.

Parents or caregivers are welcome to run the 1-lap option with their little ones - if you do this, please stay with them to the end, each take a disc as you cross the finish line and tell the recorder you are accompanying a child.

This event is a standard race with all runners and walkers starting together at 2:30pm. But can you beat your time from Race 1?

Points are awarded at each event. To be eligible for the trophy or prizes competitors must be members of Waimea Harriers and compete in the same category in all three events.

Not able to make it to all three events? Come to those you can and have a fun run or walk! Everyone and all abilities are welcome.

Join the club for $40 individual or $60 couple/family. Children & youth students can join the club for free.
