This ceremony commemorates all New Zealanders killed in war and also honours returned servicemen and women, past and present.

The ceremony commences with a street parade led by the Takaka Citizens Band, departing Golden Bay Pharmacy at 8.45 am for the 9.00 am Service at the Memorial Park. If wet the Service will be held at the Rec Park Centre - no street parade. This year supported by the ‘Takaka Mounted Rifles’ – riders on horseback in WW1 period costume! Don’t miss this opportunity to commemorate those who gave their lives for us.
