NRDA has supported more than 4,000 local businesses across our region, from leading exporters and tourism operators to early stage deep tech startups and the next generation of entrepreneurs with big ideas. Our knowledge, experience, capability, and connections help drive a strong and thriving local business community.
At the centre of our business support ecosystem is the Regional Business Partner (RBP) Network, a government funded programme designed to make it easier for New Zealand businesses to access early-stage support. NRDA is proud to be the local contracted Regional Business Partner for MBIE. This means we are responsible for the delivery of the programme across Te Tauihu. Our advisors help local businesses by providing independent advice, access to funding, information & resources, and connections across our local and national support ecosystem.
