Nelson Airport is one of New Zealand’s busiest regional airports. Around 900,00 passengers pass through the terminal annually, facilitating 37,000 aircraft movements per year. The airport serves four airlines, including national carrier Air New Zealand, OriginAir, Sounds Air and Golden Bay Air.

The airport is a multi-stage capital work programme that includes a new terminal with a visually stunning, sustainable building featuring locally-sourced timber, designed to reflect the beauty of the region. It is a home to Air New Zealand’s Regional Maintenance hub which provides world-class engineering services to airlines from throughout Australasia and the Pacific.
