Buildings, walkways and walls are adorned in spectacular murals, and it’s easy to while away a few hours exploring them all. Within the city, a walkable mural trail takes in the bold and beautiful Aotearoa mural on Wakefield Quay, the tui perched on a harakeke tree at Neale Park, the giant seal and squid building in Buxton Square and the dense green foliage of the urban jungle at the top of Trafalgar Street. You can follow the city murals walk on the Nelson City Council website or create your own route on the Street Art Cities website.
