An easy walk along the Tahunanui waterfront offers a tasting platter of Nelson Tasman’s unique history, scenery and cuisine.

The Boulder Bank, Haulashore Island and the iconic Fifeshire Rock are backdropped by Tasman Bay and the Western Ranges, whilst an array of sculptures and murals add another dimension of colour and vibrancy to the spectacular seascape.

An off-road pathway begins at Tahunanui Beach, passing a fishing wharf, memorials, murals and sculptures along the way. Seaside dining abounds along Wakefield Quay, so you can indulge in the flavours of the region from a balcony that overhangs the glistening waters of the harbour, before learning more about the history of the area at the various interpretation panels en-route.
