The Teetotal mountain biking trails are situated in the stunning alpine village of St Arnaud, and offer a challenging variety of length and difficulty for riders, including the famous skating pond loop which is popular during the colder months.

A mountain bikers paradise, the area is popular with beginners and advanced riders. From Rattler Rim to Rocky Horror, riders will enjoy meandering through grassland and matagouri scrub, and feeling the adrenaline rushing through their veins with exciting dips, banked turns, steady climbs and steep descents just a few features of these extraordinary trails.

The trails cross public conservation and Nelson Forests Ltd leasehold land, and are multi-use. Riders must be aware that others, including hunters, could be in the area and enter at their own risk.

How to get there: The Teetotal Recreation Area is down a short road about 1.5km west of St Arnaud on SH63.
