Silvan Forest is a privately owned forest, but its’ owners have opened it up for recreational use and invest in the development of a high-quality riding experience for all to enjoy.

The area contains a network of dual direction climbing trails and wicked downhill descents that weave in and around the radiata, eucalypt and macrocarpa forestry.

Whether you just have a couple of hours or a whole day, there is plenty to explore in Silvan – venture up to the fire lookout and continue across to Marsden Valley, or spend the afternoon carving up the Alpha tracks.

How to get there: Turn right at the water reservoir access road near the end of Champion Road. Here, you’ll find the trailhead where you can access the forest, with carparking near the gate.
