A well designed backpackers that is only 25m from the central city bus station. Completely redesigned and refurbished in 2017 we offer large outdoor spaces, fun and welcoming common areas, free unlimited fibre WiFi and a petit gym for those that like to stay in shape while travelling. Every effort has been put in to ensure that everything that you might desire is available to suit your needs . Our dorms have secure under bed lockers and each bunk has their own reading light and power point so that you can stay charged and connected. All of our twin and double rooms have their own ensuite bathroom as well.

You can find us in Nelson's City Centre, right behind us is where the weekly Nelson Markets are held, where you can find great local produce, arts and crafts every Saturday! For those that enjoy getting the blood flowing we are 15 mins walk to the Centre of New Zealand hill or a 50 mins coastal walk to Tahunanui Beach. Quicker if you take our free bikes, around 17min.
Sunny Nelson is located at the top of New Zealand's South Island. With its great outdoor environment with plenty of hiking, kayaking, cruising and biking options, great retail outlets, great seafood, wine and beer, more than 300 working artists and galleries and its great weather and events, it makes it an enjoyable hostel to stay at to say the least!
