The lodge accommodates up to 16 people in a mix of rooms. For larger groups we also offer our separate, self-contained Shearer's Cottage, which could sleep up to 4 more guests. This can be booked separately. Perfect setup for family gatherings, corporate retreats and groups.

16 people can sleep in the Lodge building itself in 7 bedrooms as follows:

- 3 spacious bedrooms with king sized (or twin single) beds with ensuite bathrooms and balconies. It is possible to have an additional third bed in two of these ensuite rooms.
- 3 bedrooms with king sized (or twin single) beds which share bathrooms.
- 1 family or bunk room with 3 or 4 bunks or a queen sized bed and two bunks, all of which share bathrooms.

There is a large family bathroom (including a massive bath!) upstairs and a separate toilet downstairs beside the bunk room. For large groups, one of the ensuite bathrooms can be converted to a shared bathroom - in that case there are 2 ensuite rooms and the remaining rooms share two full bathrooms and one wc.

The lodge has a unique modern kitchen made from recycled timber, which opens onto a large dining area with huge farmhouse table and a wood burner for the cooler nights. The kitchen/dining area opens onto a large sunny verandah with a large 6 burner BBQ and a great garden area. The verandah is the perfect spot to laze in the sun on a bean bag.

There is Wifi throughout and a stereo in the kitchen/dining area.

While purposely rough and rustic on the outside, the lodge building follows clean lines and is designed to a high spec inside. The design is inspired by the local vernacular and refined to blend in with other outbuildings around the farm.

We minimise and mitigate our carbon emissions and are aiming to become certified carboNZero in the near future.
