Sprig + Fern 10k Run & Walk Brightwater - 19 July 2025

This fun run and walk at Brightwater and through the surrounding countryside is the second of four Waimea Harriers Sprig+Fern 10km events in the Nelson Tasman area.

Meet on the Village Green at the corner of Starveall & Ellis Streets in Brightwater.

Registration opens at 1.20pm and closes promptly at 2pm.

Slower, casual walkers can start at 1:45pm - please raise this at check-in.
Walkers & Runners Briefing: 2:00pm
Walkers start: 2:15pm.
Runners 2:30pm

Can’t run 10km right now, but still want to run? Find a friend and do it as a 2-person relay - each doing about 5km. Please raise this at Check-In. Relay participants are responsible for getting themselves to and from the half way point.

There is a $10 entry fee per event, but it's free for school children and youth students, Waimea Harriers and Athletics Nelson members. So if you are not already a member, why not join Waimea Harriers now? $40 individual or $60 couple/family.

Everyone and all abilities are welcome. Enjoy a drink, spot prizes and time together after the event at the Brightwater Sprig + Fern on Ellis Street.
