The Ocean Swim Series is back for 2025/26 — and our first stop is beautiful Nelson.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Tāhunanui Beach in the Nelson-Tasman region, this event offers something for everyone — whether you're a seasoned ocean swimmer or trying it for the first time.

We have free 100 m and 200 m events for kids aged 6–12, a 500 m swim for those beginning their open water journey, and 1 km and 3.2 km options for more experienced swimmers. Whatever your age, ability or challenge, this is a great day out for individuals, families, and friends.
