Join us on Saturday 9th August for the 50th anniversary of the iconic Dovedale Hill Race – a classic local 11km run or walk up Pigeon Valley Road from Wakefield to the top of Dovedale Hill. This much-loved event has been a highlight of the local running calendar for five decades.

Registration: 1:30pm in the "Whitby" car park in the middle of Wakefield.

1:45pm: Casual Walkers Start
2:00pm: Fast Walkers / Slow Runners Start
2:15pm: Main Runners Start
2:30pm: Fast Runners Start
2:45pm: Juniors 5K Start from halfway water station.

This is a one way course with participants jogging back down Pigeon Valley Rd, or carpooling and leaving a car at the top before the event.
