Join us for Shape & Spin, a hands-on experience designed for those with little to no experience with clay. Across two half-days, you’ll explore the foundations of both handbuilding and wheel throwing, learning essential techniques and creating your own pieces using each method. On the second day, you’ll refine and decorate your work through trimming, finishing, and surface decoration techniques to add texture and personality. After the workshop, we’ll take care of glazing and firing your pieces, which will be ready to collect at a later date. This course is the perfect taster for anyone curious about pottery and looking for a relaxed, supportive introduction to a variety of ceramic techniques.
