Make it Nelson - Cold Process Soap Making

A beginner's guide to cold process soap making has been created in a workbook format with written and visual photos, detailing the history of soap making, relevant safety information, recipes, and essential tips for novice soap makers. This resource is designed for use during our workshop and as a take-home reference. In consideration of the workshop's beginner level, the lye solution and oil mixture will be prepared ahead of time. During the workshop, participants will combine these prepared elements, proceeding to mix and pour the soap batter into soap moulds. Participants will also learn about adding colorants and essential oils and creating textured designs. After a curing period of 6 weeks, the soap will be prepared according to cosmetic standards for labelling and then packaged. Delivery/postage of your artisan soaps will be arranged. This workshop offers an interactive learning experience limited to 6 participants, ensuring personalised instruction and guidance.
