Climate Change Business Support Workshop

Share and learn alongside Nelson businesses

FREE Workshop includes:

  • Understand your value chain and identify areas for improved efficiency, resilience, and adaptation
  • How to work out your carbon footprint – key areas and resources
  • Plan your adaptation pathway and nature contribution
  • Evolve your business’s sustainability story, collate data, and share progress and impacts.
  • Discussing good practice, using practical templates and tools, Q&A and sharing of learnings and progress

Bring alongside some data from your business that you have already - energy, waste and water statements or carbon footprint information and nature contributions – evolve your sustainability progress! Don’t worry if you don’t yet have any data.

What you can expect:

  • Learn how to enhance your business value chain efficiency, resilience, and adaptation.
  • Expand your climate change adaptation pathway, carbon emission data, energy planning, nature contribution and sustainability reporting.
  • Meet motivated Nelson business colleagues, share and evolve practice and contribute to collective impact.

We’re helping local businesses take meaningful climate action by connecting people, sharing progress, and providing practical tools to reduce impact and build long-term resilience.

  • Collating and sharing Nelson’s Climate Change Collective Impact – highlighting key environmental, governance, and social activities, progress, and impacts
  • Hosting in-person workshops and webinars on value chain planning, business efficiency, resiliency and sustainability (including carbon footprint, energy, waste, water, and biodiversity contribution)
  • Supporting networking events and special-topic seminars such as solar energy, EVs, and other areas by request
  • Linking with Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce, business partnerships, Nelson City Council, Mission Zero, Nelson Tasman Climate Action Forum, Moananui, Uniquely Nelson, Hospitality NZ, and our local visitor sector
  • Responding directly to business support requests
