Tackle almost 1000 metre of descent on every run through 70km of hand-crafted singletrack perfection. With door-to-door service from your Nelson accommodation, comfortable transportation, and flexible scheduling throughout the day, you'll maximise every moment. Your full-day adventure includes transportation to/from Nelson, 5 full-sized runs (or equivalent combination), expert guidance, and mechanical support if needed. Gorge-ready rental bikes available at special rates.

Gorge ready mountain bike rentals are available at a discounted rate, mountain bike guides or coaches can also be added to enhance the experience.
Conditions
Participants must be confident riding blue grade trails and have mountain bikes in excellent working condition (or rent one of ours). Gravity Nelson's expert coaches and guides can be added to the shuttle day to enhance your experience. Minimum price is for four people.
Cancellation Policy
The gorge rides exceptionally well in the wet, we may however be able to change the date of your booking if the weather looks particularly bad.

We recommend leaving Nelson at 8am for your full Gorge Shuttle day and usually will have you back in Nelson around 5pm.
Weather Considerations
The Wairoa Gorge rides pretty well in the wet providing you bring good wet weather mountain biking clothing and a change of clothes.
