All you have to do is list your event on Eventfinda. All events promoted through our website are sourced from Eventfinda.
Eventfinda is a national events database. Any events you list will be distributed out to multiple websites, including Nelson Tasman's official event guide, Nelson Tasman events, Stuff, NZ Herald, and more.
As part of your Eventfinda listing you will be able to see how many times it has been viewed. This makes Eventfinda a great measurable marketing tool.
Eventfinda offers an online support system for enquiries via its help centre. If you need telephone support, their number is 09 365 2342, and their office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
The itson.co.nz website is no longer a viable platform. A new official regional website for Nelson Tasman was built earlier this year, with improved functionality to work with Eventfinda to host events for our region. The website uses an API (Application Programming Interface) to automatically pull events through to nelsontasman.nz/events.
All event listings for the Nelson Tasman region are pulled from Eventfinda. To have your event available on nelsontasman.nz, you will need to list your event on Eventfinda and select Nelson / Tasman for the region with the appropriate Town/Suburb (Golden Bay, Motueka, Murchison, Nelson, Nelson Lakes, Tasman Bay, Upper Moutere, Waimea).

Once the Eventfinda team has approved your event listing, it will then be pulled to nelsontasman.nz/events. Please allow 48 hours for the feed to update.
If you don't see your event 48 hours after it has been approved by Eventfinda, please contact us at events@nelsontasman.nz.
Start now if you can. We recommend all event organisers list their events on Eventfinda as soon as possible.

Eventfinda offers unlimited listings of free events (koha) and unlimited listings of events ticketed by Eventfinda. To list a paid event, organisers must sign up for a paid Eventfinda Connect plan.
There are three Eventfinda Connect plans: Free, Essential , and Professional. The listing functionality available within the portal depends on which plan you choose. The free version of Eventfinda Connect also allows you to list one additional commercial event at a time.

The itson.co.nz website will be disestablished as it is an outdated platform. Eventfinda was chosen because it is New Zealand-owned and a trusted platform used by regions such as Taupō and Auckland to host events.
From Monday, December 9, you will be redirected to nelsontasman.nz/events to find all Nelson Tasman events. Event organisers will need to use Eventfinda to upload/host their events.
From Monday 9 December, all events on itson.co.nz will be removed and viewers will be redirected to nelsontasman.nz/events from any old URL. If you have an event listed on itson.co.nz that is not already on Eventfinda it will not be automatically transferred to our new website. Please ensure any active events are also listed on Eventfinda.
