23 Halifax Street, Nelson | Wednesdays 8am - 1pm
Every Wednesday, rain or shine, the Nelson Farmers Market brings together some of our region’s best growers and artisan food producers. Browse stalls brimming with seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and pastries, cheeses, honey, eggs, meats, nuts, mushrooms and plenty more. With produce changing throughout the seasons, there’s always something fresh to discover and a friendly local to have a yarn with.

Montgomery Square, Nelson | Saturdays 8am - 1pm
A Nelson favourite for more than 40 years, this bustling Saturday market is the place to mingle with locals and discover some of our region’s best produce, flavours and creativity. Browse stalls packed with fresh fruit and vegetables, gourmet treats, handmade goods, art and crafts, then grab something tasty and settle in to soak up the friendly atmosphere in the heart of Nelson.
Isel Park, Stoke | Thursdays 4.30pm until sunset during daylight savings, from October through to May.
This evening market makes the most of those long summer days, with a relaxed twilight atmosphere and plenty to browse, taste and enjoy. Wander among stalls showcasing local produce, handmade crafts, artisan goods and delicious street food, with live music and entertainment adding to the buzz. It’s a great spot to gather with friends and family and soak up the local community spirit.

Decks Reserve, Motueka | Sundays 8am - 1pm
A Sunday morning favourite for more than three decades, the Motueka Sunday Market is a colourful gathering of locals, growers, makers and treasure hunters. Browse fresh seasonal produce, tasty local flavours, handmade arts and crafts, plants and quality second-hand finds, all served up with Motueka’s famously laid-back atmosphere. Grab a coffee, have a yarn with the stallholders and see what catches your eye.

3 Junction Street, Tākaka | Saturdays 9am - 1.30pm from the beginning of October until the end of May, then on the first Saturday of each month through winter
A colourful mix of fresh local produce, tasty treats, live music, arts and crafts, the Village Market is a classic Golden Bay experience.
