The Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce are affiliated to the NZ Chamber of Commerce which is part of the International Chamber of Commerce network.
The Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce and the Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) work together as key partners to drive regional economic growth, support local businesses, and foster innovation in Nelson Tasman. We collaborate on initiatives like the Regional Business Partner Network, Mahitahi Colab, and Project Kōkiri; combining business advocacy with regional development strategies.
The NTCC focuses on advocacy, networking, and representing business interests, while the NRDA focuses on economic development, regional promotion and attracting investment, their combined efforts help to strengthen the regional economy.

Representing over 500 local businesses, NTCC are the largest and most active business networking, training and advocacy group in the Nelson Tasman region.
The Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce team, led by CEO Ali Boswijk (since 2019), is a dedicated group focused on driving regional economic growth, business advocacy, and member support. The team facilitates networking, provides training, and represents over 500 local businesses to government, fostering a supportive environment for business development in Nelson Tasman.
The NTCC offer diverse business-focused events, including professional development workshops, networking functions and the annual Nelson Pine Industries Business Awards and Aspire Conference, designed to support local business growth and networking.
The Māpua & Districts Business Hub aims to help local businesses thrive through providing support, promotion, networking and training to Chamber members based in the area.
