Gum Tree Studio is a large gallery and workspace set in a stunning rural location near Ruby Bay, overlooking Kina Peninsula and Abel Tasman National Park. The artist’s contemporary paintings explore the relationship between landforms, life, and the human connection to place, using acrylics and oils to capture the beauty and solitude of the landscape. Alongside painting, limited edition Solargraph prints are created using layered digital techniques and UV exposure, each handprinted on 100% cotton art paper. Open Friday to Sunday during summer, and by appointment at other times, Gum Tree Studio offers an inspiring stop just 35 minutes from Nelson and 10 minutes from Motueka.
