Where Conversations speak and Music flows

Where Music Speaks and Conversations Flow is an intimate gathering where musicians from different cultural traditions meet to chat and create music together. It's a live exploration of sound, connection, and creativity. Audiences are invited into the process - to listen, witness, and engage at the end. Perfect for those curious about improvisation, cultural exchange, and deep creative connection.

Formed in 2022, Krakerjack draws on Polish folk and klezmer traditions, reimagining them through a fresh, contemporary lens. Their original compositions and inventive arrangements explore universal themes of resilience and belonging, moving effortlessly from haunting, intimate moments to up-tempo celebrations that invite audiences to move and connect.

Led by vocalist and clarinettist André Nowicki, the eight-piece ensemble brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds to create a rich, colourful sound shaped by both old-world influences and contemporary New Zealand perspectives. Their shows are immersive and participatory, offering not just a concert, but a shared experience full of warmth, depth, and infectious energy.

Since their debut, Krakerjack has captivated audiences at festivals and venues across New Zealand, building a reputation for performances that resonate across generations and musical tastes, while being a lot of fun.

This tour is proudly supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
