The Shape of Belonging blends spoken word, live music and storytelling in a 90-minute performance exploring identity, adoption and what it means to belong.

Created and performed by Nelson artist Becky Siame with a live ensemble, the work moves between personal narrative and original score, sitting between theatre and live music.

Winner of Best Local Show at the 2026 Nelson Fringe Festival, the show resonated strongly with audiences during its sold-out season and returns for a standalone encore at The Suter.
