As the Tasman region awakens into spring, we invite you to step into a season of deliberate unfolding. This is more than a retreat; it is an invitation to navigate your inner landscape with the same presence and curiosity required to walk the golden sands of the Abel Tasman.
In this empowering shared space, the physical and the contemplative become one. Whether you are finding your footing on the coastal trail or working your edge through a power vinyasa practice, each movement is a step toward personal clarity.
Join Hamish Kenworthy and Lucy Taylor as they guide you through a journey of pranayama, meditation, power vinyasa, vinyasa flowing into Pilates, yin and self-inquiry with discussions. We will also enjoy a day of natural beauty and coastal walking on the renowned Abel Tasman Coast Track one of New Zealand's premier 'Great Walks'.
Hamish runs Your Vital Life Yoga. He has been teaching for 15 years and formerly ran Apollo Power Yoga for 11 years, plus Step into your Power, a 200-hour yoga teacher training course for 7 years.
Hamish is the current NZ Yoga Teacher of the Year. He teaches with enthusiasm and dynamism, balancing philosophy, mindset and movement to empower and inspire his students. Hamish was NZ's first certified teacher of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, as well as NZ's first certified teacher of the Budokon Primary Yoga series. He was previously the yoga coach for the Canterbury Crusaders rugby team. Hamish has taught over 10,000 classes and we are thrilled that he will bring his experience and knowledge to guide this retreat.
Lucy is the founder of Wave Wellness, a vessel for yoga, Pilates, meditation and journaling, at home or in exclusive small-group practices. Lucy is a shining light, radiating energy and positivity.
Lucy has trained extensively in the disciplines of power vinyasa yoga, yin yoga and Pilates. She teaches with connection and care, leaving her students uplifted and inspired.
