Rise & Flow Qigong

A morning Qi Gong practice for health, vitality, and energy balance

Wednesdays, 9:30am · Trafalgar Street Hall

Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese health practice that focuses on cultivating life force (Qi) through gentle movement, breath, and awareness. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is often described as Taoist yoga and can be thought of like a “green recipe” for your body and mind — a simple, natural, and nourishing way to practice self-care every day.

Traditionally, morning is the best time to practice Qi Gong, as the body and mind are more open and receptive. This session can be practiced on its own as a complete health practice, used as preparation for Tai Chi, or as an advanced internal practice for those familiar with Tai Chi. Unlike Tai Chi, Qi Gong contains no martial art elements — it is purely for health, balance, vitality, and energy flow.

Movements are gentle, simple, and adaptable, making this practice suitable for all levels, from beginners to returning students. Regular practice supports:

-Balance and coordination

-Vitality and energy flow

-Nervous system regulation

-A calm, grounded start to the day

Start your morning with Rise & Flow Qigong — a nourishing practice to energize your body, calm your mind, and cultivate steady vitality.
