Rinholio is a 3-piece Tasman/Nelson based band playing original blues, rock, funk and reggae songs written by Darrin Andrews. Powerful, compelling grooves and soaring guitar solos with a powerhouse rhythm section create flowing dynamics and melodic musical journeys. Lyrics are inspired by the beauty of our country's nature and landscapes, human emotions and experiences. The line-up is Darrin Andrews on electric and lap steel guitars and vocals, Stephen Rance on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Kieran McKay on drums. The band often includes a percussionist and extra backing vocalist.
