Simon Graney MA (Waikato) will give an illustrated presentation on Outward Bound NZ - an organisation that inspires people to step beyond their comfort zones, building resilience, self-awareness and deeper connections with themselves and the world around them. Participants are taken on an adventure that empowers growth through challenge, creating lasting change.

Simon is a career outdoor educator with professional instruction qualifications in the disciplines of bush, alpine, sea kayak, whitewater and rock climbing. He has worked as an instructor in Germany, Nepal and New Zealand, and for Outward Bound NZ for the past 11 years. Six years of that time were as School Director at Anakiwa (Queen Charlotte Sound). For the past 4 years he has been the Strategy and Innovation Director.
