The NBS Tinbum triathlon is a family friendly event held in Pohara, Golden Bay, New Zealand. Individual and team entries.
Fun distances: 300m sea swim, 6.5km mountain bike and 5km beach run. Lots of trophies and prizes to be won!

The Tinbum Triathlon is an iconic local event in Pohara, just 10 minutes drive east from Takaka in Golden Bay, Tasman, New Zealand.
The distances involved are quite achievable for a wide range of people, so it can be a fun family event or a serious competition - the choice is yours. Plus there are plenty of great spot prizes to be won!
The triathlon has been running since 1999 and features a sea swim, a multi-terrain bike and a running leg. It starts and finishes at the Pohara Top 10 Holiday Park.
Proceeds from the event are donated to the Golden Bay Community Chest administered by the amazing team at the Mohua Social Services Charitable Trust.
