Moondog Blues has been performing at venues & festivals since 1975, some favourites would be 4x Blues on Broadbeach, 4x Mitchell Creek, 3x Cairns Blues, Bridgetown, Narooma and 50 years of touring plus having recorded & released music since the 70’s, since 2000 on CD with a consistent output across 8+ albums: Notably, Some Poor Fools, and soon to be released Little Bitter Blues, both recorded at Anzac Studio in Whangarei NZ, reflecting his bands authentic live sound. Moondog’s most recent solo efforts, 6:36, also recorded at Anzac Studio, released Jan 21st 2026 and Take A Bow, released in early 2023, which was recorded in Punakaiki NZ and reflects Moondog's one-man-band ethos.

Moondog Blues is a distinctive blues/traditional-rock artist whose performances — whether solo, duo, or trio — exude raw energy, heartfelt grit, and vintage charm. With a long string of albums and a reputation for powerful shows, he’s a stalwart of the Southern Hemisphere blues scene.
