Miyazu Odori is a much-loved traditional dance from Miyazu, Nelson’s sister city in Japan. It is danced together in a large circle, making it a wonderful way to enjoy Japanese culture, meet people, and have fun together.
Join our FREE Miyazu Odori Workshop and learn some traditional Japanese dance moves. No experience is needed — everyone is welcome!
The dance will be performed at the Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday, 26 September, where everyone will have the opportunity to join in and dance together.
Come to the practice sessions, join us on the day, or both!
