I hail from the West Riding; Millstone Grit wool country and famous for its choral singers from 2 centuries past... perhaps that’s where my urge to sing comes from... rather more influenced by my own contemporaries; those Folk Singers and Country Greats, I have been belting out classics since the 70's on acoustic guitar and harmonica for all and sundry. As a compulsive song writer since those hippy days; a result of growing pains and personal angst, I have penned some 'classics' of my own. Using AI now these days to work on improving lyrics and song structure; these are my own songs or versions of friends lyrics that I have developed into my own versions. All are intended for playing live in our band, the best that we can make of them at least.
