Nelson musicians Mike Ford (tenor horn) , Kay Mackenzie (soprano cornet) and Ross Gerritsen (baritone horn) are three of New Zealand’s leading brass band musicians. Collectively they have won over 20 national solo titles, 4 national duet titles, 2 national quartet titles and Kay and Mike were the 2023 and 2024 New Zealand Champion of Champions winners. Between them they have been in 20 National Bands.

In this concert they present their solos for the 2026 National Brass Band Championships in Wellington accompanied by Louis Lucas-Perry.
