Step into Nelson’s past with the Nelson Provincial Museum’s Historic Homes Tour.
Join us for a unique day of discovery and explore 15 remarkable heritage homes across Whakatū Nelson.
Discover beautifully preserved homes dating from the 1850s onwards and uncover the fascinating stories of the people, families, architecture and events that have shaped each property.

Take a break from your adventures and enjoy a traditional Devonshire tea at The Granary in Founders Park, available from midday until 3.30pm.

Your tour booklet and map will be provided to you in advance, so you can plan your day and begin your self-guided journey.
Explore the homes at your own pace and create your own itinerary as you discover Nelson’s treasured heritage properties.
