This ceremony commemorates all New Zealanders killed in war and also honours returned servicemen and women, past and present.

The ceremony commences with a street parade departing Golden Bay Pharmacy at 8.45 am. If wet the Service will be held at the Rec Park Centre - no street parade. The ceremony is accompanied by the Takaka Citizens Band and the Takaka Mounted Rifles (riders on horseback in WW1 period costume)! Don’t miss this opportunity to commemorate those who gave their lives for us.
