Get ready to lose yourself in a world of stories and sound at the ultimate treasure hunt. The Founders Annual Book Fair and Record Fair is back, taking over the historic village for nine days of browsing, crate-digging, and community spirit.
This year, we have amped up the volume on our Record Fair. Whether you are a vinyl veteran looking for that one missing pressing or a newcomer starting your collection with CDs and cassettes, our music hub in the Energy Centre is packed with everything from classic rock to hidden gems. It is a celebration of physical media that you can hold, play, and keep forever.
Of course, the legendary Book Fair remains at the heart of the event. We have thousands of titles waiting for a new home, covering everything from gripping thrillers and local history to quirky cookbooks and vintage collectibles. Over in the Granary Hall, the children’s section is a dedicated wonderland of adventures for the next generation of readers.
What makes this event special is the atmosphere. There is nothing quite like the hum of hundreds of people finding that perfect bargain while surrounded by Nelson’s heritage buildings. Every book and record you buy helps us preserve and develop the park, so you are supporting local history while scoring a great find.
Take a break at the café, enjoy the park gardens, and come back as often as you like to see what new treasures have been put out on the tables. It is a nine-day marathon of discovery that helps keep our stories and music in circulation.
