Motueka Diwali 2026

Join us for Motueka Diwali 2026, a colourful community celebration of Indian culture at Motueka Library and Decks Reserve.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, celebrates light over darkness, hope and new beginnings.
Following our first Motueka Diwali in 2025, we are excited to return with another community celebration. Enjoy live cultural performances, Indian food, market stalls and family-friendly activities.

You can also join our free Rangoli floor mandala activity and help create a colourful shared artwork together.

We will set up movie and decorative set up at Motueka Library, with live performances and food stalls outdoors at Decks Reserve, alongside the Sunday Market.
