This ceremony commemorates all New Zealanders killed in war and also honours Returned servicemen and women, past and present.

This is a static Service held at the Memorial - wet or fine. A Civic Service will be held later in the morning, commencing with a street march from Golden Bay Pharmacy at 0845.
