Nelson Yacht Club is hosting the Nelson & Marlborough Regional Championships presented by Solander. A sailing regatta for fleet racing in a wide range of dinghy, skiff and multihull classes (including ILCA, Optimist, Starling, Zephyr, Europe, OK, 29er, Waszp, and more). Incorporating the Zephyr South Island Championship, a NZIODA South Island Optimist Traveller Series event and Starling Traveller Series event. Open to all ages and abilities. Thanks to the support from Solander, the "Green Fleet" entry for novice racers is $0 (prior sailing experience required).

For the majority of fleets, racing will take place on the open waters of Te Tai O Aorere / Tasman Bay. The best viewing from ashore will be as the fleet transits between the Club and the racing area. This is conditions dependent, but typically between 12 and 1pm and between 4 and 5pm each day.
