Named after a cheeky white heron that once visited Mapua, Hamish’s Ice Cream Café has been keeping his memory alive since 2006. Choose from locally made ice cream or a real fruit ice cream packed with delicious local berries, then find a spot outside overlooking the beautiful Māpua estuary.
There’s also coffee, tea and muffins, plus famous gourmet toasted sandwiches when you’re after something more substantial.
