33km ride on the West Coast Wilderness Trail, starting in Ross and finishing in Hokitika with entry to Treetop Walkway tour included. A great day out for all the family.
Starting in in Hokitika, a 20 minute shuttle ride takes you to the start of the trail in Ross. Here you can explore the Ross Goldfields Information & Heritage Centre. Jump on your bike but not before you grab a photo in the famous West Coast Wilderness Trail photo frame. Following the distinctive orange signs, the trail heads towards the sea before turning onto the historic Ross rail route which will take you over the Totara Bridge (built in 1908) and give you lovely views of the Totara lagoon, Mount Cook and Mount Tasman. Ride to the entrance of Treetop Walk and Café. Experience life with the birds, high in the ancient Rimu and Kamahi tree canopy. Your ride back to Hokitika from here will take you on some of the best trail in the country.

If cancelled on the day of your booking or after midday the day before, no refunds will be given. If cancelled by midday (12pm) up to the day before your booking then a $50 handling fee applies. NB: If possible, Kiwi Journeys will work with you to re-schedule your trip at no extra charge.
