Since opening in 1987, we’ve been dedicated to preserving and sharing Motueka’s rich heritage. The Museum highlights the region’s geology, Māori and Pākehā settlement, and Motueka’s vital role in industries such as tobacco, hop growing, and horticulture. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re returning to explore our rotating exhibitions and events, there’s always something new to discover. Come and experience the charm of our museum, where history and our local community come together.
