If you have kayaking experience and are comfortable exploring on your own, we have full and half day options. Regardless of your experience you will receive a safety briefing to cover weather, where to explore and how to safely operate our boats.
Our Independent kayak hire option gives your the freedom to explore the stunning coastline at your own pace. With top-of-the-line equipment and expert guidance from our friendly team, you can paddle your way through crystal-clear waters, admire the breathtaking scenery and discover hidden coves & beaches. Whether you are a seasoned kayaker or someone that has had a little bit of experience, our independent hire option is perfect for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Golden Bay with half day and full day rental options available. We are the closest sea kayak company to the Abel Tasman National Park. The Tata Islands are ecologically the most important in the Abel Tasman National Park with its collection of flora and fauna.

If the weather isn't suitable for kayaking we will offer for you to kayak another day or a refund.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and we will happily change your booking for you. Depending on circumstances, 2 weeks prior to departure 50% cancellation fee 1 week prior to departure 75% cancellation fee 48 hrs prior to departure no refund If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather there will be a 5% administration fee only.
