The Coppermine Track is one of Aotearoa’s most accessible alpine mountain bike circuits—and a must-do Great Ride. This epic trail offers breathtaking views, exhilarating descents, and a diverse landscape of rocky tops, serene beech forests, and a flowing river trail. Following the historic Dun Mountain Railway, the track climbs through lush native bush to reveal panoramic views of Tasman Bay and the surrounding mountains. The highlight? A thrilling 10km downhill, packed with rock gardens, flowing switchbacks, and pristine forest. Who’s it for? The full loop is ideal for fit, experienced riders (comfortable with Grade 4 trails) on full-suspension bikes.

Cancellation Policy
Single Day Tours and Bike Hire Policies Once payment is made your booking is confirmed Cancellation before midday the day prior to your booking will incur a $50 fee per person If you decide to finish your bike ride or single day tour and require an unscheduled return shuttle, there will be a minimum charge of $50 (price dependent upon mileage and traffic) Cancellation after midday the day before your booking will result in no refund given

Extreme weather may cancel the tour, decision made by 12pm the day before the tour commencing
