This trip gives a taste of everything Abel Tasman National Park has to offer. If you only have 2 days it’s a great short trip option. A leisurely paddling experience. A good option for those that have had a little experience, looking for an Abel Tasman experience but don’t feel they need to be too adventurous. Wildlife galore including seals, birds & stingrays. A special sunset experience• A historic Māori pa site & home to New Zealand's oldest maritime structure, an ancient waka boat ramp. Overnight camping far from the madding crowds. One of the most beautiful beaches in the Abel Tasman National Park. Camping is amongst Kanuka trees or on the beach.

You are responsible for your own safety and our equipment during the rental period. Sea kayaking has associated risks. Minimum number of two people. Stable double kayaks are provided, for that extra person we do have singles available. You need to be water confident and have paddling experience. You need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment, understand how to read a map and understand how to look after yourself in the outdoors. Camping equipment is available for hire. No fires.
We understand that plans change, this is our base line cancellation policy. 2 weeks prior to departure 50% cancellation fee 1 week prior to departure 75% cancellation fee 48 hrs prior to departure no refund If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather there will be a $2 booking fee only.

Sometimes the weather doesn't allow us to get on the water to go kayaking. If this does happen we can change the day you leave or offer you a refund.
