Connings Food Market is a family owned and operated boutique grocery store, that showcases some of the best food products from around New Zealand, specifically the Nelson/Tasman region.

We have everything you could possibly need from fresh produce and meat, to dry grocery and alcohol. Our Connings Kitchen also has a delicious range of takeaway cafe food and coffee.

We are a family of Market Gardeners that harvest from our land across the Waimea plains of Nelson. The farm was originally started by our parents Robbie and Cheryl Conning over 40 years ago.

in 2019, we decided to create an outlet to give our community the farm to table experience across all fresh produce. We grow as much of our own fruit and vegetables as possible and where we need to, we source locally.

At Connings, we are proud to showcase our own produce while supporting as many local businesses as possible, both big and small.
