Our famous Discover Day is the ultimate boat cruise and walk combination in the Abel Tasman National Park. This is a MUST do day trip if you only have one day to explore the Abel Tasman National Park.
The Discoverer Day offers all the best the Abel Tasman has to offer with a Full Park Scenic Cruise, visits to Split Apple Rock and a Fur Seal colony, golden beaches, forest walking and wildlife encounters all in one superb day out. Option A: Astrolabe Beaches and Bays. Enjoy a full Park scenic cruise, then we drop you off at Apple Tree Bay at 12pm for a walk through to fabulous Anchorage Beach with time to visit five different beaches along the way. There is also the option to add a 1 hour Pitt Head loop track to Te Pukatea beach. A great choice for beach lovers. Walking Distance: 7km. Walking Time: 2.5 hours. Suitability: comfortable walking on easy tracks. Bring a light day pack with water and sunblock.
