This month local businesses will be able to access free practical workshops to help strengthen performance, manage uncertainty and plan their next steps.
The workshops are being delivered by the Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) as the Regional Business Partner Network provider for Te Tauihu, following the recent announcement by Minister Cameron Brewer of a nationwide Business Resilience Training initiative.
The Adapting to Change workshop series is designed to support NZ business owners and teams to anticipate, respond to, and adapt to change through practical tools, guided reflection, and business planning strategies.
‘Many businesses are experiencing broader economic and global pressures which are causing all types of stresses in the business, from cost increases to supply chain challenges through to impact on staffing levels. These workshops will give business leaders time to assess their position and work through practical next steps’, says Mark Maguire, NRDA’s Manager of Innovation & Business Growth.
The free interactive workshops will provide business resilience training to help small and medium sized businesses to better understand their current business environment, identify risks and opportunities, and build greater resilience and agility into their business. With the right tools and strategies, businesses can better adapt, respond, and thrive.
‘As the Regional Business Partner Network provider for Te Tauihu, NRDA works with businesses across our region to connect them with advice, resources, funding pathways, coaching and networks. This is another practical way we can help local SMEs to access timely support, identify useful next steps and connect with further support where available’, he says.
Four Adapting to Change workshop sessions will be available in June across Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough. Places are limited.
