PLAY Nelson Tasman is a whole new way for you to engage with the region, learn about cool things to do AND support our local businesses.

The more adventures you have, the more points you’ll get and the more chances you’ll have to win awesome spot prizes from some of our amazing local businesses! But it’s not all about winning. It’s also about the joy of checking off challenges and having fun with your friends and family.

With an ultimate way to explore the region and new games launching each school holidays, PLAY Nelson Tasman has something for everyone to be able to play your way around our backyard, and experience new things our region has to offer each season!

The SPRING HOLIDAY CHALLENGE

The Spring Holiday Challenge is a great way for you to explore the region, support local businesses and have some fun during the October 22 school holidays. Gather your friends and family and get in the game to have a chance to win some awesome prizes!

This game will go live at 12pm, Wed 5th October 2022 and will run until 5pm Tues 25th October 2022. Prizes will be drawn at the end of the challenge, with all prizes awarded by Friday, 11th of November 2022.

The ULTIMATE ADVENTURE

The never-ending Ultimate Adventure asks competitors to check off the best experiences in the region and is available for anyone who wants ideas of what to do in Nelson Tasman. With over 100 ways to explore Nelson Tasman, and new challenges added regularly, this is the ultimate way to experience our region.

This game launched in July, 2022 and the initial competition period ended on Sun 21 August, 2022. However, the game lives on as a way for you to explore the best adventures Nelson Tasman has to offer at any time of the year!

WHAT KIND OF PRIZES ARE UP FOR GRABS?

We're encouraging you to support heaps of local businesses by playing along, so it makes sense for us to support them too! Everyone who plays goes in the draw to win one of the many spot prizes on offer. Prizes will be drawn randomly from all eligible participants, with teams that place 1st, 2nd or 3rd during the competition period automatically awarded a random spot prize for their efforts.

The $5,000 spot prize pool includes vouchers, ranging from $60 - $500, to spend at the below local businesses:

HOW DO I JOIN A GAME?

Download the GooseChase App on your phone, either on the App Store or the Google Play Store and create an account.
Enter the GAME CODE - 'SPRING22' for the Spring Holiday Challenge, or 'ULTIMATE' for the Ultimate Adventure.
Create your team - or select your team from the list if it’s already been created. If you’re playing individually, just enter your name.
After joining the game, get your team ready! The Spring Holiday Challenge kicks off on Wednesday 5 October and runs for three weeks!
